Long
Ben Moskowitz is a creative technologist and strategist working to make new technology serve people and the public interest. He runs Two Planets, a strategy and applied AI practice for mission-driven organizations, and is a Digital Fellow at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab.
From 2019 to 2026 he led the Innovation Lab at Consumer Reports. His team built Permission Slip, an authorized agent app that gets companies to stop selling or delete people’s data, and AskCR, a chatbot that answers questions using only CR’s published reporting. With Stanford, he developed a framework for loyal AI agents: agents that serve the consumer’s interests above all others.
Before Consumer Reports, he was a founding member of the International Rescue Committee’s Airbel Center and spent five years at Mozilla. He has been a professor of practice at NYU ITP and NYU Shanghai. He is also an avid collector of dusty sci-fi paperbacks.
